Compare with your lucky self

 

The flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blossoms.

  If it had been compared, then I bet, we would not have seen some of the most beautiful flowers in this world! There would be no exchange of roses between the loved ones, no garlands offered to the God, no such a thing known as Sunflower oil.

  Are we like these flowers always? Are we the persons who compare ourselves with the outer world? Are we the persons who sometimes feel insecure? Then we should think of these 5 Ws and 1 H.

1)      Why?

a)       Jealousy: We feel Jealous of someone. We think that nobody can be equal to us or rise above us.

b)      Insecurity: We feel incapable, hopeless, and unsure of ourselves.

In contrast, why we should not compare because we are unique in our way. Appreciate the uniqueness in each person. We try to become like others. Remember that there has been, there is and there will be no one like you.

 

2)       Whom?

    Generally, we compare with people who are more successful than us in terms of personal, and professional social life. Instead, we should compare ourselves with those who are less privileged than us. This brings some kind of satisfactory feeling in our life that ok, at least, we are living a better life than them.

   But does that mean we should build on our ego toward them? We should help to make them more fortunate.

 

3)       When?

 It is when we feel low or something has gone wrong in our life. Instead, we should compare when things are smooth or we win over someone. With the person we defeated? Why? Because, when life is going smooth sometimes, then we are fortunate. And as I told you before, you should compare with people who are less fortunate than us.

 

4)      Where?

 Where to compare? Your self is the place. Not any of the areas of the outside world.

 

5)       How & what?

What do we compare with? People’s success, social status, winning, fortune? In place of that, compare your struggle with their struggle. How they managed to reach such a position, what you should pick up from their hard working times, etc.

       Always remember that ...

    If you see the sunrise, then you are lucky to experience a new day of your life, because some bid the world goodbye before dawn.

   If you see the sunset, you are lucky enough to go through a bright day because some leave before the Moon rises.

  Always say to yourself: ‘Lucky me!

The advanced but complicated world of technology!

Busy Monday morning!      After a relaxing Sunday, I got up on busy Monday morning. I saw a plethora of things starting from curtains, room doors, clothes stand, wall, lights, bed, fan, ceiling etc etc etc!!! ALL IS IN THE PRESENT MOMENT!!!!!

The film and the song!!! That was a period of time when I was in 10 th standard. I hardly took out time for any entertainment shows or films for that matter. By the way, I am not a film-fanatic. I do watch films but a selected few. One of the films which I watched at that time was 3 idiots. It had an altogether different subject! It is a dramatic film based on the friendship of three engineering college students.   Upon thinking about the film, I quite naturally remember the joyous and the cheerful song ‘All izzzz wellll!!’.
