Pleasant is equal to positive but unpleasant is equal to what???

See, listen, breath in, nurture only the……
Gaze at a rising star,
Dismiss a warlike war.
Listen to a musical voice,
Tune out a piercing noise.
Breath in the pure,
Breath out the sour.
Nurture the positive,
Rupture the negative.

Pleasant and unpleasant?
There are many pleasant and unpleasant things around us. This definition of pleasant and unpleasant varies from person to person. Even our memories are sometimes memorable or sometimes sad. Some colors are bright while some are dusty. A smell is sometimes fragrant, sometimes rodent. A sound is sometimes melodious , sometimes noisy. A surface is sometimes smooth, sometimes rough. A taste is sometimes sour, sometimes sweet.

Different situations and different reactions
Like this, the situations in our life are either in favor of or against us. Everybody is happy in a pleasant situation but different types of people react differently in an unpleasant situation. Some people get angry, frustrated, depressed, sad, nervous, anxious, irritated while some people calm themselves down, engage themselves in some work, while even some of them remain neutral.

The trickiest part
The trickiest is the second part. I wondered, how some people cool themselves down even in the most unpleasant, difficult situations! Do they train their mind or something like that? Yes, that may be. But, in my opinion we should do it. We should train our mind to feed in the bright colors rather than dusty colors, the fragrant not the rodent smell, melodious not the noisy sound, smooth not a rough substance, a sweet and not a sour taste.

What should be keep in mind?
In fact, we see, hear, smell, touch, taste many things in our surroundings which we like or don’t like. It is up to us, whether we should think about the things which we do not like and are unpleasant for us. Moreover, we should train our brain not to accept, process and store the negative thoughts but only the positive thoughts. Thinking positive leads to an increased life span and resistance power, better health, better coping skills during hardships and times of stress.

Keep calm!
Before going, I stress on this that do not get stressed. Keep the mind cool. Take in, process only the positive thoughts and produce output as nothing but only the happiness. Going forward, I am sure you will remember this. I will be back within a couple of weeks. Till then, you may communicate with me your thoughts regarding the topic through my email or LinkedIn profile.

Have a good day!!
