         Not only devotion but also seva. 

What is devotion?
    It is love, loyalty towards anything. It might be towards a person, job, hobby, God. Yes , the last one strikes me to write this blog. Some people are more devoted towards God while some are very less.

Devotion and seva.
 But does mere devotion create a good human being in you? I believe, certainly not. No offense, some people have been really good and devoted to God also. But, my line of thought is that along with devotion there should be some kind of eagerness to do seva (social service).

Seva, our very own nature.
We, as a human being, are defined by our nature which is basically a permutation and combination of different good and bad qualities we possess. Our intrinsic nature is to do seva.

Help on the way
 God will be more happy if we help someone in need of money, food, clothes, medicine, water or even mental support, rather than just visiting religious places, pilgrims. Hence, next time, when you are visiting any place to worship God, remember to help the needy people on the path.
